I ponder every day
Can our life go another way?
Could I have done differently in the past?
I come to a conclusion that with these thoughts,
With that consciousness of another choice, I simply would not exist,
There is no other way, in my mind at least.
It is precisely our attitudes, beliefs and principles
that guide us in a certain direction.
And how we don’t want to change it.
Show me your real self
That you put on the far shelf,
Take off your shackles,
Escape the mental slavery.
We are only running around in a circle defined by our consciousness.
We are kind of blind and just do not see any other alternatives.
We see only black and white without any shades,
Never try the other side; never see the edge’s fades.
At some point you decided, or someone decided it for you,
that this is your way, but this is not for you.
Only by changing internally, one can change the external life.
I’m not saying that it will be easy,
For sure it will be a fight.
Fight and struggle with yourself and people around.
Fight with this until the walls are leveled with the ground.

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae

With this 1ºLP, Subtype Zero jumps in to the ship of 'new wave of Thrash' ready to surff with great riffs and solos that will make you remind some of the most prominent old school metal bands; sometimes closer to Hardcore but not close enough to keep balance during this trip to The Astral Awakening.

The Brazilian metal outfit teaches a lesson in exemplary thrash, delivering palm-mute chugging, dexterous fretwork, and infuriated-but-intelligible vocals on every song Bandcamp Album of the Day Jan 21, 2021
